WHY SALT INTERIOR DESIGN?

Salt is a timeless mineral that has been enmeshed throughout civilizations for millennia, often used for healing, purification, preservation, and flavor enhancement. Salt Interior Design strives to embody the characteristics of this beloved mineral in its design aesthetic, creating spaces that are pure, weightless, and bright, with a little punch of spice.

MEGAN FOSTER

"I am passionate about designing spaces that exude warmth and balance with a focus on serenity. To counter our often chaotic world,  I enjoy creating spaces that evoke tranquility and are visually calming through the use of clean lines and elements of nature."

Megan is a full-time Interior Architecture and Design student at the Academy of Art University. After completing her undergraduate in Studio Art and Nutrition and Food Science at the University of Vermont in 2011, she spent the next ten years practicing Holistic Nutrition. With the onset of COVID, she re-evaluated her career choices and sought a path in Interior Architecture and Design giving her the space to express her creativity and artistic talents. She worked as a Design Assistant for two years in Jackson, WY while imagining what life will be like as an Interior Designer.

Megan moved to Jackson, Wyoming in 2016 to challenge herself physically, mentally, and as a space to realign with her life goals. The wild expanses and stunning vistas of Wyoming have been a great source of inspiration for Megan as she uses these as art subjects and in her design aesthetic. She strives to bring soul to each space she designs with clean, unobstructed lines, touches of nature, a timeless palette, and layers of texture.
